Our Worship
A classic Christian icon from the 15th century depicts an image of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit sitting at a four sided table. The fourth side of the table is open for all people who desire to enter the fellowship of the Trinity through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. At Resurrection Church, we believe worship is one of the most important things we do on earth, since worship will continue into eternity.
Anglican worship has been described as three streams flowing into one river. The three streams are Scripture, the Spirit and the Sacraments. The river is the church's life of holistic worship and spiritual nourishment in the Lord. If you visit us for worship, you will find we read from the Old Testament, Psalms, Epistles and Gospel every Sunday. We celebrate Holy Communion weekly. Additionally, we rely on the work of the Holy Spirit in times of intercessory prayer for healing, worship in song, and confession of sin.
Ultimately, we do not believe corporate worship is a spectator sport. Therefore we invite all worshipers at Resurrection Church to stand, kneel, come forward for communion, profess their faith in prayers and Christian creeds, and bow down before the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ. We worship at 10 a.m. every Sunday morning. We would love for you to join us.
