Elijah Lovejoy, Pastor / Priest

 Elijah grew up in Black Mountain North Carolina. He met his wife, Brandi, at Erskine College, where he double majored in history and religion. They got married on May 26, 2001 and together have 5 kids, Charissa, Simeon, Pax, Eva and Valor.  Elijah has been in full time pastoral ministry 16 years.  He loves family camping, disc golf, chess, conversations with friends, going to the movies, reading NT Wright and laughing at corny jokes.

​Vance Tyson, Deacon
​

Vance has lived in the Gray's Creek area his whole life where he lives on a farm with his wife, Becky. Their children have grown and flown the coop. Vance was ordained in 2007 to help with the leadership and pastoral care of Church of the Apostles (now Resurrection Church).​

Chris Walk, Assisting Priest

Chris graduated from Ohio University in 2002 and earned a Master of Divinity from Campbell University Divinity School in 2013. Chris seeks to lead people to greater fulfillment of the Great Commandment and the Great Commission. He and his wife, Melanie, have two kids, Elijah and Eliana. Chris enjoys movies, all things J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis, playing with his kids, and dates with Melanie.

Angela Fields, Director of
​Communications & Engagement​

Angela grew up in Grays Creek, later moving a skip and a hop to Bladen County.  She is married to Eddie Jay Fields, and they have three daughters, Haleigh, Olivia, and Violet.  Angela is a Family Nurse Practitioner and former Mayor of Tar Heel, NC.  In her role as Director of Communications & Engagement, Angela coordinates social media, church announcements, pastoral care follow-up, and Sunday morning servant team leaders.

Judah Marshall, Worship Leader & Administrative Assistant

Judah has lived in the Grays Creek area for 4 years. He's currently completing his Certificate in Worship Leadership from Grace College of Divinity. During his free time he enjoys playing, writing and listening to music.

Brandi Lovejoy, Children's Director

Brandi grew up in Dallas, Texas and Greenville, SC.  She attended Erskine College and received her Masters in Theological Studies from Reformed Theological Seminary. She has 17 years of experience in education and ministry. Brandi has served as a teacher of all ages, a Pre-school Director and a Children's Ministry Coordinator. Her passions include her kids, Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, spending time with friends, gift-giving and serving wherever she is needed.

Donna Waren,
​Finance & Worship Assistant

Donna was born and raised in Brevard, NC. She and her husband, Eddie, have lived in Fayetteville for 39 years. Together Eddie & Donna have two children, Taylor & Jackson.  Now retired, Donna served as a banker for 40 years.  In her free time she enjoys exercising, Bible Study Fellowship, helping out at the church and spending time with family.
